The MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask is a flexible, portable, home use mask that uses light emitting diodes (LED) to submerge the skin in light. MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask uses clinically proven medical grade technology.

HOW DOES MZ SKIN LIGHTMAX SUPERCHARGED LED MASK LED TREATMENT WORK?

MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask uses proven wavelengths of light; 633nm red light, 830nm of near infra-red light and 415nm of blue light. These wavelengths have been shown in studies to stimulate collagen and elastin production and help to improve blood flow and tissue oxygenation through a process called photobiomodulation, and help reduce acne vulgaris. IS IT SAFE?

MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask has been tested and is compliant to international safety standards. Since the mask doesn’t cover the eyes; eye protection isn’t necessary.

IS THE MZ SKIN LIGHTMAX SUPERCHARGED LED MASK TREATMENT PAINFUL?

No pain should be felt whilst using MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask. The light penetrates the skin and stimulates the cells to work in a natural way. MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask is non-invasive and there is no heat. Therefore, the treatment is completely pain free.

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR MZ SKIN LIGHTMAX SUPERCHARGED LED MASK?

DO NOT use MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask if you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity, have a photosensitive disorder or are pregnant or breast feeding. Photosensitivity (sensitization to light) is a common side effect of various medications and some herbal remedies. A List of medication can be found HERE.

Do not use the MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask 2.0 if you are a child under 14 years of age. The safety of the device for children younger than 14 years of age has NOT been tested and the risk is unknown.

Since MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask does not generate heat, most other people are suitable but there is a list of contraindications that should be referred to by anyone who is thinking of having a MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask treatment. Please view the list of contraindications.

WHAT ARE THE WAVELENGTHS AND JOULES EMITTED?

It is 18 joules which is equivalent to the cumulative dose that Omnilux delivers. If you use it 3 times per week, for ten minutes it is the same as using Omnilux twice a week for twenty minutes. The main difference is how close to the face it is.

We use red and near infra-red light at the following outputs:
Red: 630nm+/-10nm
NIR: 830nm+/-17.5nm

WHAT POWER SOURCE DOES THE MASK USE?

The MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask uses a lithium-ion battery rated at 9.62Wh / 2200mAH.

If you are travelling by air, the battery should be carried in carry-on baggage and not checked-in. The device must be completely switched off.

IS IT FDA APPROVED?

We are FDA cleared. An LED device such as this is not required to be ‘approved’ by the FDA.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT HAVING CLINICAL TRIALS?

This means we have carried out clinical trials using MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask on these specific wavelengths and energy output. MZ Skin LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask is the result of over 20 years’ experience in LED research. We were the people to first discover that red and infra-red together give the best treatment for wrinkles and we constantly do clinical trials to prove the efficacy of this device. Responsible LED companies should have their OWN data tested on their product.

WHY CAN’T I USE MZ SKIN LIGHTMAX SUPERCHARGED LED MASK WHILST PREGNANT?

None of our clinical trials are done on pregnant women so we do not know the affects it has on the baby. We have never heard of any adverse effects of LED and pregnancy, but we cannot be sure.

LED bulbs themselves can last for 5-10 years, however we are unable to determine the life of the other elements, as it’s often determined by how the product is cared for. We offer a 2 year warranty which covers all areas of the mask.
